Under the direction of Sascha Köllnreitner it was a very emotional experience to embody my grandfather, the important Kitzbühel painter and architect Alfons Walde, builder of the Hahnenkammbahn. It was like a journey back in time to the epoch and historical landscape that shaped him and which he made immortal through his art.
